Max Fan

I studied mechanical engineering at MIT as an undergraduate. After I graduated in 2023, I worked in the medical device industry designing and improving surgical instruments.

In my free time, I have been building a fully mechanical computer and a fully mechanical implementation of Conway’s game of life. I deeply enjoy discovering new mechanisms and exploring what is possible with mechanical hardware.
